Musical Performance with Dark Themes

Step right up, my feathered friends.

A golden dream that never ends. A little hope,

a little grain, and all your worries

fly away.

Bock, bock, peck, peck. Put a little faith in the man with a sack.

Bock, bock, what a day. He gives us dreams and grain to play.

A beast with claws, a terrible threat. Don't ask questions, don't you fret.

Into the war box, off you go. A glorious adventure, a wonderful show.

Bock, bock, march in a row. Follow the crumbs wherever they go.

Peck, peck, don't ask why. Keep your little beaks pointed up at the

sky.

Bock, my feathers. Bock, my feet. Where's the

dream? Where's the wheat? Well, look who's back.

You've done so well. Here's a brand-new threat, a

brand-new tale. Chemical danger, a terrible scare.

Follow my seeds, I'll get you there. Don't question, don't look around.

Just follow the crumbs along the ground. Bock, bock, we remember.

Bock, bock, last December. But the seeds look lovely

and the path looks

clear. Bock, bock,

march in a row. Follow the crumbs wherever they go.

A nuclear nightmare, the end is near. Run to the box, there's nothing to fear.

Bock, bock, the sky's falling down. Run to the box, don't stay on the ground.

No time for a second opinion. The seeds are waiting.

Forget rebellion. No more, no more, I've

had my share. I've lost my feathers, I've lost

my hair. Seeds for the faithful, a beautiful

pile. Come get your reward, my dears, with a

smile.

Grain. Grain. Wonderful grain. Forget

the feathers, forget the pain. Bock, bock, one

by one. Peck, peck, now they're gone.

Hello?

Is someone there?

What's that rolling, little dear?

Just some flags, nothing here. Oh, that smell

is sweet and smoky.

Is my supper waiting near?

Oh, no, my dear.

Too late to wonder how you got here. A dream's a dream.

A deal's a deal. Some get the gold. Some get the meal.

Bock, bock, march in a row. Follow the crumbs wherever they go.

At least

the grain was free.

Bock.
