When they raided, they took me as a human shield.

My name is Malak Shihab from Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm. I'm in the fourth grade.

The army entered our house,

They released the safety catch and shone lasers.

We wanted to go out,

but the soldier grabbed me and started telling me to open the doors.

I opened the doors, I was very scared.

After I opened it, the soldier let me inside,

and let the dog in after me.

He removed its muzzle and told it to attack, and it started sniffing me.

They took me outside the house,

and they started shooting in front of us.

They blew things up in front of us.

Oh... Oh... I don't know why, out of all the children in the house,

they chose me. They took them all outside,

and kept this little girl inside with them.

They forced her to open the door,

and of course, they let a dog in with her.

There is no safety in the country because the army is in it,

that's why there is no safety. I say that we will win soon,

and this is our freedom,

of course, the freedom of the remaining children.
