Debrief on Police Support and Challenges
I'll give you a quick recap of yesterday.
So listen carefully to these stories, okay?
I'm doing this to show you
what it's like on the ground,
uh, and to, well,
motivate some of you to join us, to join our ranks.
Uh, well, overall, it went well.
Not everything went as planned,
uh, but that was to be expected.
There's so much chaos that unexpected things are inevitable.
And it was a first for us.
And, uh, overall, there were a lot of positives.
So the first very positive point is that,
thanks in particular to all the
contacts
that we had, I was able to alert the entire municipal
police force.
My colleagues alerted the BAC, uh,
the National Police
and the CRS and the gendarmes.
We received tremendous support from them.
Part. Uh, they know we're with them.
We know they're with us.
Apart from the municipal police chief,
who is from the old world,
uh, and who hasn't
yet understood certain things.
But anyway, we'll take care of it,
we'll get across the messages that
need to be.
Uh, anyway, he'll come to
understand it himself as
events gradually unfold.
But I'll come back to that a little later.
Overall, they were all with us, and it was
really great.
They all generally encouraged us,
supported us, thanked us.
I hope it'll be like that the next time, because there will be
more.
So thanks, guys. To all those who follow me,
in the police force, I
thank you from the bottom of my heart for your,
your support.
You warned us about the groups,
you really took part in the thing and
that was, that was great. Another very positive point is
the impact we had on the psychology of the
troops we're trying to control, namely
all the wesh, the young and not-
so- young who hang around,
all the rebeus who,
who hang around Trashel
and look at us sideways.
Uh, so they saw for the first time
that the
people could be present and that we weren't
going to let ourselves be walked all over by
this vermin. Negative,
namely the head of the CRS, who actually is the
chief
of the municipal police,
who perhaps wasn't aware of our
intentions,
but above all wasn't
necessarily on our side.
So the prosecutor was in front of him,
uh, but
I don't know, he had to stick to his
official stance, and his official stance
doesn't work. The official stance,
it is: the State has a monopoly on
legitimate violence. That's what he told us.
He told me, "I don't want a militia,
I don't need you, yadda yadda."
He was very firm and not very pleasant.
In France, guys, uh, there aren't enough of you.
On the other side, you have
thousands, tens of thousands,
or even millions of
people who exploit our system and suck it dry until there's
nothing left, and who want to destroy us.
Your code of ethics is outdated, it is no longer enough.
You need us.
We don't have an ethical framework.
And we don't represent the State,
we represent the people.
I told him, "But you, you'll see the civil war,
and then you'll need us."
He said, "Yeah, we'll see about that."
So he understood, he understood well,
but there you have it.
So that was the second negative factor, and
I hope that will change.
