Daily Arm-Swinging Exercise: Six Simple Movements
Swinging your arms for ten minutes every day keeps ailments away.
Today, I want to share
this simple arm-swinging
exercise routine with you,
comprising six easy actions.
Like and save it. Persist in exercising daily.
The ancients said, "Great truths are simple, and the simplest often
contain the deepest truths."
The path to wellness should also be straightforward to be universally accepted
and
implemented, far surpassing those complicated health
doctrines.
The arm-swinging exercise shared
today involves six actions that seem very
simple, but in fact, they fully comply with the principles of
traditional
Chinese medicine.
This exercise originates from muscle tendon transformation exercises,
meaning to turn weak tendons into strong
ones and sick tendons into healthy
ones.
Arm swinging by pulling on the wrists, palms, heels, and knees stimulates
twelve meridians, causing stretching movements.
Swing standing up, not sitting, feet apart as wide as the shoulders.
Keep the upper body straight, look
forward, swing both hands to their
maximum limit.
This not only expands the chest and lungs, but also fully exercises the
shoulders, neck, lower back, and spine.
Swing forward ten times, and with a bit of force,
swing back ten times,
using inertia to reach the maximum limit.
Keep your palms open throughout, feet steady and stable.
Swing a hundred times
every day. People with shoulder, lower back, and
spinal pain, after persisting
and swinging for a while, will feel much
better because swinging opens up the body's meridians, making the body more
fluid. Where there is free flow, there is no pain.
Where there is pain, there is no flow.
Thus, arm swinging is the simplest exercise
which can be done anytime,
anywhere. If dizziness, chest
pain, or heavy soreness in the arms
occurs during practice, it indicates excess.
Progress gradually and exercise in moderation.
Some people may experience burping or passing gas, which shows
that the triple
burner is open. Sensations of soreness, numbness, cold,
or heat are normal. Persist in exercising.
