Health Risks of Poor Lifestyle Choices

A man I know.

I called him several times, but he didn't answer.

In the prime of his youth and vitality.

I called again, no answer. I swear to God, the story

is true.

A week later, I called him and got no answer.

When I woke up from the coma in the hospital, sitting right in front of me

on a chair was a police officer,

and I had no idea what was going on. I asked, 'Where am I?' He said, 'You're in the hospital in

such-and-such city.'

'What happened to me?' He said, 'We want to ask you what happened to you.'

I asked him, "What happened to you?" He said, "Well, I had gotten into the habit of never

eating breakfast,

heading out to work in the morning,

and drinking that black coffee sold

on—on—on—on the roads and in the markets,

on an empty stomach. He said, "And I'd vape,

without eating breakfast." He said, "So I stopped on the road while I was

heading to my hometown. And, as you know, I live in

Riyadh. He says, "I pulled over and got out of my car,

and on my way to the grocery store, I collapsed halfway,

and I don't know what happened next." Apparently, they took him

to the hospital—a six-day coma, everyone.

When the doctor came, he said, "Tell me, what's your routine?"

He said, "I only sleep three or four hours.

I'm addicted to black coffee.

I don't ea—I don't eat breakfast. I'm addicted to vapes."

The doctor said, "If you don't change these habits,

you risk losing your life in the prime of your youth."

I swear to God, his story

is truly

so heartbreaking that it could soften stone.

I asked, "What did you learn?" He said, "I swear, Doctor,

these... these... these e-cigarettes, we used to run from

cigarettes and hookah to them, but they're even more dangerous

and atrocious.

I swear, this coffee we drink on an empty stomach is the most dangerous thing

for your health. I swear, anyone who skips breakfast is lost.

I swear, anyone who doesn't get normal sleep at night

is destroying their health. That's my experience
