Update on Critical Injury from Attack

He underwent initial resuscitation procedures in the trauma room

and then went for imaging tests.

From there, he was urgently taken into emergency surgery, which lasted essentially

almost until this moment. He is now in the final stages of

surgery. His condition has stabilized, but he is still

in life-threatening danger. It cannot be said that he is out of danger.

Many teams, both surgeons and

intensive care staff, are still working on

stabilizing him and continuing his treatment.

And hour by hour, we will monitor him

and of course update the family on his

medical condition. It was a high-impact vehicular ramming attack, involving multisystem trauma,

but unfortunately, the most severe injury is a

head

injury with an intracranial hemorrhage. This is essentially

the main surgery he underwent. The injury is multisystemic.

He underwent several more interventions and surgeries,

but the severe and life-threatening injury is the head injury.

As I just explained to the family,

we currently cannot say what will happen tomorrow or

The day after tomorrow. We're assessing such a severe head injury

every hour or two.

And we're trying to correct everything we can. His condition

is now stabilizing. As Dr.

Schwartz said, he's not out of danger, but his condition has definitely

stabilized. He came out of surgery, will undergo further tests

and we'll update the family hour by hour.
