Protests and Police Response in Delhi

In the last day and a half, sir,

some videos have also emerged in which Delhi Police personnel or RAF personnel

are also being chased and beaten up.

And because of this, questions are also being raised about the

morality of the movement.

It is being asked whether the movement is completely under the control of the

CJP leadership. Look, our call is for Jantar Mantar.

All the people at Jantar Mantar are under our control.

Even those who are around it are under our control.

But, through you, I also want to tell the public that anti- social

elements have been infiltrated into our protest.

Two thousand to three thousand people have been mobilized by the BJP- RSS.

They are infiltrating them,

and they want to create a riot- like situation here.

And those very people are also doing stone- pelting and all here.

They are not CJP protesters.

We have been sitting here peacefully for more than 30 days.

And none of the people here are violent.

But why is it that so many stones are being found in such a sensitive zone?

The police should explain this first of all.

Where are so many stones coming from?

As you may know, on the night of the 19th, we released a video where an

old truck was found with many sacks inside containing stones.

We even tagged the police and told them,

but no action was taken. In the morning, when the DCP came with the government's

invitation, we told him about this.

Isn't this an intelligence failure on your part?

Isn't it a security failure

that you are allowing a van full of stones so close to the protest site?

So they ran over and saw what it was.

Then they said,"

Oh, this is construction material."

It's all stones, and such huge stones at that,

what kind of construction is that for? So, who is doing this?

The Delhi Police must answer.

Look, protests are happening across the entire country.

We are not taking responsibility for the entire country.

Our responsibility is Delhi, Jantar Mantar,

and what is happening around here.

That is under our control.

As for the rest, we can certainly make an appeal. This is Gandhi's country.

Gandhi Ji taught the whole world how to adopt a peaceful mode during protests.

We have to take this movement forward on these principles.

This is a movement of all of us, a movement of every youth.

We must become volunteers, take responsibility,

identify such anti- social elements,

and hand them over to the police.

And we need to sideline them.

They are trying to derail our movement, so avoid them And carry this

movement forward peacefully.
