Sheikh Sultan's Visit to Sharjah Areas

His Highness Sheikh Dr.

Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi

began his tour by visiting Al Madam, where he reviewed

the progress of work on a number

of projects currently underway

there. His Highness directed

that work promptly begin on a

concrete barrier extending for one kilometer

and a half from Al Ghurayf Roundabout toward Nazwa,

as well as leveling a sidewalk for

pedestrians in front of the shops

located along the road,

in addition to providing

designated parking

for private vehicles and trucks. Afterwards,

the motorcade of His Highness,

the Ruler of Sharjah,

headed to the village of

Khudair, where he met with the villagers,

who welcomed

him very warmly. His Highness learned about

their circumstances and needs, and directed officials

to study them and meet them. His Highness also directed

that a suitable site be selected for a new school

to serve the village's residents and

those of the surrounding villages.

Then His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah,

visited Wadi Al Helo

in the Eastern Region, where he reviewed

the new road projects

linking Wadi Al Helo

and several neighboring areas. His Highness

checked on the residents'

conditions and the services

provided to the region's people. As part of

His Highness's concern for the comfort

and reassurance of the area's residents,

His Highness ordered the construction

of a health center and another

for the police,

as well as a center serving

the area's children.

His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah,

directed that a suitable site be selected

for a sports club to serve

residents and young people.

As part of His Highness's concern for

the safety of the area's residents

and ensuring traffic flow and their

freedom of movement, he ordered

the construction of a tunnel linking the new school

in Wadi Al Helo and Al Shaabiya.

He then inspected

the progress of work on the new public housing,

numbering fifty homes,

which are expected

to be completed soon. His Highness then met

Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al

Qasimi with the people of Wadi Al Helo,

who were keen to meet His Highness to express

their happiness at His Highness's visit

and offer their highest expressions

Gratitude and appreciation for the

civilizational transformation it is witnessing

in the region, thanks to His

Highness's gracious directives.

Residents praised the great

attention given by His Highness

the Ruler of Sharjah to advancing

their region and providing

a dignified life for every one of its residents.
