Referee Experiences with Messi and Ronaldo
What's it like to referee Messi and Cristiano?
And it turns out Archundia refereed a young Messi,
and he was cool, right? Chill.
But once they were at Barcelona and all,
I mean, at the top,
he went to referee Messi,
and at one point he shows him a card,
and Messi turns around and says to him,
Why are you giving me a yellow? Don't you know who you're booking?
Oh, really?
And Archundia turned around and told him,
And don't you know who is booking you?
He says to him,
I am the best player in the world, and I am the best referee in the world.
Holy shit!
And he talks about Cristiano Ronaldo,
that there was a game against Brazil
where they were playing really rough.
In the first half, there were six bookings.
Coming out for the second half, he says to him,
I already spoke with my team
and we're going to behave better.
We're going to play.
because besides, they already told us that Mexicans are tough
and we already saw that's true, so chill.
And that he had an unforgettable second half
but look at the difference in attitudes.
