Greetings. Following the incident that took place

on Thursday in Germany involving Prince Reza Pahlavi, and in response

to your many questions,

I find it necessary to share some explanations with you. On foreign trips,

especially in European countries and outside the United States, responsibility

for providing security lies with the security forces and police of the host country.

In this case as well, protection of

his person and the place where he was present was the responsibility of the German

police and the Berlin police. Nevertheless,

the initial action in dealing with the offending individual was taken by a

member of Prince Reza Pahlavi’s security team. The liquid used in this

incident caused no physical harm to the prince and he remains in perfect health.

That day he continued with his prior schedule with strength,

while the level of his protection by the German police had also increased

significantly. The official investigation regarding Thursday’s attack is

still ongoing. At the same time, the prince’s security team,

in coordination with the relevant authorities and independently, is pursuing

every aspect of the issue and is reviewing his protection protocols during

public events. Despite such threats, the prince’s constant emphasis is on

being among the people and maintaining

direct contact with his compatriots.

His office is also working to ensure that this connection is maintained and

facilitated. Nevertheless, dear compatriots are requested,

in public spaces and while respecting the prince’s privacy, and with full

cooperation with the security teams, to help ensure this can continue.

The responsible behavior of all of us will prevent the imposition of further

restrictions. The prince and his family are sincerely grateful for your

expressions of concern, your support, and your kind messages. And finally,

I emphasize that no action by the regime or by its agents

and accomplices will disrupt the path and mission of

Prince Reza Pahlavi for the freedom of Iran and service to The Iranian

people will not allow it.
