In a home filled with affection and closeness

A rare story emerges

That embodies the noblest meaning of giving

The husband gives his second wife one of his kidneys, and the first wife

Donates part of her liver to her co- wife, a scene That sums up

selflessness

And humanity. The suffering was, seven years ago, with my second wife, Taghreed.

It was Her problem,

cirrhosis of the liver and scarring of the kidneys. Praise be to God,

all praise is Yours, O Allah. Noura, Umm Turki,

my First wife, donated her liver and took the initiative,

And may God record her reward and grant her goodness. The operation succeeded.

After that I took the initiative

to donate a kidney because she Needed a transplant as soon as possible,

and the operation succeeded, all praise is Yours, O Allah,

and we freed her, meaning, from The suffering of dialysis,

which was three days a week, and for her it was torment.

Praise be to God that We were able to revive a

soul and relieve her of the worry and torment she was in

The first wife rose above jealousy and rivalry

And acted with complete humanity and love

To offer a part of her body as a gift of a new life

To the second wife

By God, praise be to Allah that my Lord enabled me to do this good deed.

O Lord, all praise is Yours that I was able to donate. For Taghreed, honestly.

I consider her more than a sister to me,

I mean I came forward for this out of my own desire,

without anyone pressuring me or forcing me.

I stepped up for this and I truly wanted it because I love the girl,

I love her, and she is kind and gentle with my daughters and with me,

like my sister, by God, and even more.

And besides, this is something done purely for the sake of Allah,

I seek in it the pleasure of Allah.

“ And whoever saves one life,

it is as if he has saved all mankind.”

From the womb of suffering,

and with the support of the husband and the first wife

Taghreed found hope so the family could share life

And overcome the pain

O God, to You is all praise,

I recovered from an illness of seven years,

I had kidney failure and liver cirrhosis thanks to God,

then thanks to Abu Turki who donated a kidney to me, and Umm Turki,

my husband’s wife,

whom I consider a sister and a support to me Donated part of her liver to me

And I do not see her as a co- wife competing with me,

I see her as like a sister to me and a support to me,

and God willing God will enable me to repay their kindness and be...

Grateful to them, God willing, for all my life

Between a liver and a kidney,

and a hand that gives and another that returns the favor
