We have followed the path of God, glorified and exalted be He.

And in what have we followed it? In our work.

I hope that what we have followed in our work,

in all our endeavors, and that God, glorified and exalted be He,

grants success to everyone. Because God, glorified and exalted be He, is the One who

brought this human being into existence on this earth, and that God,

glorified and exalted be He, made us His vicegerents on earth.

And we have become the ones who ruin

instead of building.

And that God, glorified and exalted be He, when He sent the messengers,

was always reforming the human being so that he would build up the earth.

So here in Sharjah,

we are committed,

first and foremost, first to our

noble religion. And we are also committed

to our Arab identity. And we are also committed

to our customs and traditions. We do not change our tongue,

nor do we change our nature.

We must be honest with ourselves, honest with our

fundamental makeup.
