revive the conflict

and make it

active again.

Dr. Mubarak,

we also want to ask,

perhaps this

American step

was justified

by the United

States as a

response to

the harassment

Iran carried out against some commercial ships in this strait.

And here we ask how

the Gulf states view this

harassment over the past period by Iran of

those ships in

this strait?

We know that the issue

of, in quotes,

harassment is not new

and was much

more serious

than this harassment.

There was actually a very large attack on the oil facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais,

and there was also

an attack on…

in Abu Dhabi,

and we did not see any real

American move.

That is why when I

say that the

timing of this

move is indeed

suspicious,

it truly proves that the

United States of

America is an

empire— quote,

a war empire.

It only stretches out and lives by

fueling conflict,

but this time it collides

with the rationality of Riyadh and the rationality of Abu Dhabi and their

shared interests,

and the region’s interests,

through the peace agreements that were signed,

and through the peaceful intervention announced by China with

its sponsorship of the historic agreement between Riyadh and Tehran,

and also the return of our brothers in Syria,

and the visit of the Turkish president that you mentioned to Saudi Arabia,

then the Emirates and Qatar,

which means that the region is indeed moving toward something better.

We hope that the United States of America will fall within this framework

that is pushing the region toward more peace, more stability,

and that it will contribute to solving

the region’s issues rather than managing them.

Today we hold the initiative in resolving the situation in Yemen,

we hold the initiative by resolving the complexities with the Iranian side,

and we hope that the United States of America will support these efforts and

not fuel the conflict.
