This underpass in Herat province is highly useful;

it protects against crashes and many dangers.

This vehicular underpass is considered important for reducing congestion,

traffic accidents, and organizing the traffic of Herat city. If Herat gets

two or three more of these, there won't be any traffic congestion at all.

traffic jams will be reduced, for example. Everyone can go their own way,

and they can quickly, for example, reach their destination.

The ventilation and lighting systems of the underpass are not yet completed.

According to the project officials,

the ventilation system is also scheduled to be installed in the underpass soon.

The work progress and structure of the project have been completely finished.

Also, in the electricity and ventilation sectors and such,

thank God, over 90 percent of the work has progressed, and there is no problem.

Currently, to resolve traffic issues and congestion, the project

road has been opened.

This underpass,

at a cost of nearly 70 million Afghanis

over a period of nearly ten months, has been built. This route in the center of

Herat city is nearly 650 meters long and eight meters wide.
