Vijay, Tamil Nadu CM Vijay, as you said, is a revolutionary

In my view, in this country’s history,

it has come, no doubt,

as the most unprecedented election result

ever.

Will politics not corrupt him, or

will he not get sucked into it?

I am optimistic, I am optimistic. My wish is, now,

judging by the evidence seen so far,

overall, with the discipline he has shown,

with great humility, without pomp or fanfare,

he appears to be working

and trying. We should not expect great miracles from him.

Over these five years,

at least the day-to-day corruption at the grassroots level, because of his reputation for honesty,

if he brings it under control,

and governance is not haphazard, chaotic, or showy,

if he maintains that discipline and does that much,

that would be a great good. We need not expect greater miracles and say that he has failed.

In fact, that itself would be the greatest miracle.

If these two things happen, he'll be someone who has served this country greatly, in my view.
