Evet, ben.
Ben onlarla gurur duyuyorum.
Onları seviyorum.
Bilirsin, sonuna kadar savaşırız.
Yani, insanlar bizden vazgeçti ama biz vazgeçmedik.
O yüzden, yani, onlarla gurur duyuyorum.
Günün sonunda, sonuna kadar savaşırız.
Bilirsin, birlikte kazanırız, birlikte kaybederiz.
Ve, bilirsin, birlikte kalırız.
Çok şey öğrenmemiz gerekiyor.
Biliyorsun, bizi büyük bir yaz bekliyor.
Ve ne olursa olsun, birlikte kalmalıyız
ve, bilirsin, gelecek sezon daha güçlü dönmeliyiz.
Albert, gelişimin bir sonraki aşaması açısından,
Açıkçası bu sezon sizde bir gelişim vardı,
özellikle sende, ama bir sonraki gelişim aşamasını
senin için özel olarak
nasıl tarif edersin?
Şey, her sene daha iyi olmak, dostum, biliyorsun.
Mayısta eve gitmek gerçekten, gerçekten acıtıyor,
biliyorsun, hele de böyle erken elenince.
Bu sezonun başındaki hedefimiz bu değildi.
Ama, günün sonunda olan oldu.
Ve neyin ne olduğunu biliyoruz.
Sezon bitse bile odaklanmaya devam etmeliyiz.
sadece, biliyorsun, sahada olmak istedim,
Hepsinden gurur duyuyorum.
Gelişim gösteriyoruz, biliyorsun.
KD'nin olmaması bizi, hani, yaralayabilirdi,
ama, hani, yine de geri adım atmadık.
Biliyorsun, sahada nerede olursak olalım,
birlikte savaşıyoruz ve, biliyorsun,
herkes gelişim gösteriyor, anlıyor musun.
Reed, ilk playoffu, bizim ikinci playoffumuz,
Her zaman elimden geleni yaparım, kendime güvenirim.
O özgüvene sahibim.
Her zaman yeniden ayağa kalkarım.
Yine playofflarda kaybetmek,
sonra da çok, çok, çok çalışmak.
Daha iyi bir liderlik sergilemek.
Yani, biliyorsun, her konuda daha iyi olabilirim.
Pes etmem, ve yapacağım şey bu.
Ve aynı şeyi takım arkadaşlarımdan da bekliyorum.
Albie, bu akşam, aklından geçti mi hiç,
hani, ya Fred sakatlanmamış olsaydı diye?
Ya Steven sakatlanmamış olsaydı diye?
Ya Kevin sakatlanmamış olsaydı diye?
Yani, herhangi bir noktada bunu düşündün mü,
bu akşam ya da seri boyunca?
Hayır.
Yani, tabii ki düşünüyordum,
sezonun başında Fred’i,
her zaman değişim üzerine konuşmalar olur,
ister bu teknik ekip olsun ister kadro.
Sezon dışında uzaktayken,
kadronun ve organizasyonun farklı olacağını
nasıl hazmediyorsun, bilirsin,
ve isminin de bunların içinde geçme ihtimalini
o tür konuşmalarda da mı?
Şey, o konuşmalar hakkında hiçbir şey yapamam,
biliyorsun.
Yani, olan bu, yapacak bir şey yok.
Bununla devam ediyorsun ve, biliyorsun,
bu işleri yapmak ön ofis işidir.
Yani, bununla ilgili hiçbir şey yapamam.
Ve, biliyorsun, nereye gidersem gideyim,
ya da burada nerede kalırsam kalayım,
eğer burada kalırsam, biliyorsun, buna katlanacağım.
Yaptığım şeyi yapmaya devam edeceğim.
Aynı hedefler, her şey aynı.
Albie, sen buradaydın, işler pek iyi değilken.
Biliyorsun, hepiniz sezonunuzu
normal sezonun sonunda bitiriyordunuz,
ve şimdi, biliyorsun, son iki yılda
sezonunuzu ilk turda bitirdiniz,

Yeah, me. Albert, I know this is a group that really loves each other. As much as you're willing to share, what were you guys saying in the locker room just now after a tough night?
I mean, nobody was ready tonight to be finished, honestly. It hurts, of course, but be proud of each other. I'm proud of them. I love them. You know, we fight until the end.
I mean, people give up on us, but we didn't. So, I mean, I'm proud of them. We fight until the end, end of the day. You know, we win together, we lose together. And, you know, we stay together.
Gotta learn a lot. There's a big summer coming for us, you know. And whatever happens, we gotta stay together and, you know, come back stronger next season. Albert, in terms of the next stage of development,
obviously there was growth this season from you guys, especially yourself, but how would you describe what the next phase of development is for you specifically? Um, just get better every year, man, you know.
It really, really hurts going home in May, you know, with the next set. That wasn't the goal beginning of the season this year. So, but it is what it is, end of the day. And we know what it is.
And gotta lock in still, season ends. Maybe get, you know, one, two weeks off and just start working for next season, man. You know, we're still growing up. Um, a lot of young guys are here.
I'm young, too, so, you know, gotta work hard and come back stronger here. Just set the tone from the beginning and stay consistent. And, you know, hopefully the goal's gonna be the same.
And hopefully, you know, everybody healthy, stay healthy, and we'll be here next season. Albert, how would you assess your home play tonight, and what do you feel like was the source of some of y'all's offensive struggles tonight?
Um, one of those nights, we missed a lot of shots. Um, find them. I mean, they play good defense, honestly. And, you know, we find the shots, we miss them. It happens.
It's happened in the first two games. And it happened tonight, too. They play better than us. They play harder, I will say. I mean, you know, it hurts.
We tried, we really tried to come back, but it didn't happen. Hurts. Have you taken any time in recent weeks to think about your personal growth
from when you got here to now, and do you consider yourself a leader of this group? Yeah, of course. You know, year to year, learn a lot of things. And, honestly, you know,
being a couple of players out this season taught a lot of stuff to us, Reed, me, you know. I mean, I had a big summer in the national team, you know, and I lead, I was a leader in there, too. So I got a lot of, I learned a lot of things in there,
and I wanted to just bring it out here, you know. And especially our players being out, just, you know, wanted to be out there, wanted to be boys, and, you know, being the longest in this team,
and one of the longest, and, you know, just happy what I done, but, you know, I can be better always, and just gotta learn. How important was it just for the growth of the young guys,
these past few games, after falling behind 3-0, and just kind of look around and be like, okay, it's on us, there's no more Kevin, no more Fred. We gotta figure it out, basically, on our own, and how is that gonna help y'all going into the next season?
To be honest, bro, I'm proud of Reed, Jabari, Tari, Amin, you know, all the guys in the bench. I'm proud of them all. We showing growth, you know. Being KD out could have, like, hurt us,
but, like, we didn't go up, still. You know, wherever we was in the court, we just fight together, and, you know, and everybody showing growth, you know. Reed, first playoff, our second playoff,
but we just tried our best, fight out there, and that was a thing for us, you know. When we were down 3-0, we were just saying, if you're gonna lose, we gotta hurt them, you know. Just, you know, like, hurt them was not, like,
injured was, not understand wrong, but, like, you know, playing hard, just not giving up. You know, that was a thing, and just a lot of growth, and proud of those guys. Alper, you said that it's going to be another big summer.
What about, what's gonna make this summer big, and what are you hoping to accomplish on the other side? Well, it's a big summer. It's four, five months out, and just, you know, gotta get better, a lot of stuff, you know.
Body-wise, the mental-wise, you know, this season, it was a lot of up and downs for me, but I stay with it. I always try my, I trust myself. I have that confidence, you know.
I always build back. I'm a fighter, so just, you know, my shoots and everything, I'm just gonna work on all summer, and hopefully come back next season,
and shorten the court. How did your on-court and off-court partnership with Kevin evolve over the season? It's been amazing, man. Just trying to learn a lot of things from him.
Always, he's a, you know, legend of this basketball, NBA, whatever you call, and just, you know, trying to learn. He's been in here for so long. Just off the court, try to talk to him.
You know, we talk, and I mean, obviously, on the court, just playing with him, you know, been amazing. Learned a lot of things from him. And, you know, end of the day,
end of the day, learned a lot of things from him, and we have summer coming. Hopefully, we spend some time together, and learn more, and get ready for next season. What do you want the Rockets to do this off-season?
Well, work hard. Work hard, not forget this. I will be feeding up from this, you know? Losing in the playoffs again, and just work hard, and hard, and hard.
Be a better leadership. Just, you know, I can get better in everything. I don't discord, and that's what I'm gonna do. And I accept the same thing from my teammates, too. Albie, tonight, did it cross your mind at all,
you know, what if Fred had not gotten hurt? What if Steven had not gotten hurt? What if Kevin had not gotten hurt? Like, were you thinking about that at any point, tonight or during the series?
No. I mean, obviously, I was thinking, beginning of the season, about Fred, and after Steven getting out. But, like I said, we cannot think about those stuff.
You know, whoever in the court, we fight with them. I mean, obviously, they've been helping us in the time-outs and everything. They're talking to us, but you gotta fight whoever in the court.
You cannot do anything about it. Obviously, I was really upset after Fred, and Steven, also. So, those two guys was really big. It was really big for us.
And, you know, losing them, it wasn't good, but you stay with it. Whoever, the goals is always same. Just fight, go to the end, and, you know, we did it with the young guys.
I'm including myself in the young guys, too. So, you know, gotta learn. Albie, naturally, when any team loses, there's always conversations about change, whether that's from the staff to the roster.
When you're away during the offseason, how do you process knowing that, you know, the roster and the organization will be different, and the potential that your name could be also in those type of conversations?
Well, I cannot do anything about those conversation, you know. It just, it is what it is. You stay with it, and, you know, those front office job to do it.
So, I cannot do anything about it. And, you know, wherever I go, or wherever I'm staying over here, if I stay here, you know, I'm just gonna stay with it. I'm gonna do what I'm doing.
And same goals, same everything. Albie, you were here when it wasn't so good. You know, you all were ending your season at the end of the regular season, and now, you know, the last two years
that you've ended your season in the first round, how do you all get over that hump to be able to go into the next round? I mean, last season, we were really close. This season, game three obviously hurt,
and still trying to fight. And last season, we stayed with it, too. It's just learning, man. It's a lot of, you know, a lot of legend players didn't go all the way through
in their first two playoff experience, you know. And we didn't do either, but we are a good team. We have a lot of talents in this team. We are fighters. End of the day, you know, we all stay together.
And just learn, man. Learn to take care of your body and mentally, everything. Just, you know, we're gonna learn from this a lot of things. And there's, like I said, there's a lot of things to do this summer to get better.
And that's what we're gonna do. Thank you, all. Thank you, guys. Thank you.
