Yes, Mr. Rahul.

As I was coming here today, I was reminded of a particular year.

A year came to mind.

Two thousand fifteen.

I'll tell you why.

There are many people in this film who are very dear to me.

Somewhere along the way, all our

journeys became intertwined.

It was in January or February two thousand fifteen.

My directorial career hadn't started yet. I was acting in films as a hero.

A young man named Rahul came to me and narrated a story.

I liked the story. More than that, I liked Rahul.

very much.

We were trying to set up that film together, but

we just couldn't make it happen. I called all the producers

I knew and told them, "There's this young man, and there's a story,"

but no one would even listen.

But my instincts strongly told me Rahul would become a very

sensible, good filmmaker. Somewhere, I had faith in him.

But I was upset that no one gave me a chance. It was over.

Then, in 2015, once again,

a new banner and new producers were entering the Telugu film industry.

I was part of that film. I was playing a small role.

Back then, the films I did as a hero were very small films.

But when I went to their set for the first time, I was completely dumbfounded.

There were around 40 caravans.

There were about 500 people on the set. It was buzzing

like a fair. It wasn't even a set. It was a mini township.

That film was

Srimanthudu. The producers were Mr. Ravi and Mr. Naveen.

That film became an industry hit at the time.

I thought, "Wow."

I thought, "Wow, if they're making their first film on such a grand scale

with a project like this, they're very ambitious,

producers with a huge appetite for risk. My God!"

They should do well. I thought they would certainly do well.

Then, one day in 2015, my wife

came home very excited. "Today, I sang a song in Marathi."

She asked, "The song is very good. Would you like to hear it?" I listened.

She asked, "The song is very good. Would you like to hear it?" I listened.

I really liked the song. That new director,

new hero, and new heroine, she said she hoped this film would become a hit somehow.

I said, "This song is a sure-shot hit."

Early the following year, the film was released. It became an industry hit in Marathi.

My wife received a Filmfare Marathi award for that song.

When asked who composed the music for that song, it was Mr. Ajay and Mr. Atul.

That same year, 2015, one day, I went to the theater and sat down to watch a film.

In that film, I saw a boy in an important role.

In that film, I saw a boy in an important role.

The film was called Yevade Subramanyam.

As I was watching the film, I thought, "Hey, this boy is really good,"

His face had a special quality. I thought he'd definitely become a good hero.

Cut to two, three years later, Vijay Deverakonda became a big

star. Rahul and Vijay made a film called Taxi Wala together.

It was a super hit. Today, they are all

coming together with a magnum opus called Ranabali.

What makes me so happy is

that I take their success and growth personally.

Because

whether it's Rahul's stature as a filmmaker today, Mythri Movies'

heights, Ajay-Atul's legendary body of work

or Vijay Deverakonda's stardom, I have not even a one percent

contribution to their journey,

but I feel a deep happiness that my instincts about them that day

were right.

In 2015, there was a girl studying in college who auditioned for her first

film, got selected,

and began shooting that film.

The girl I need most of all is Rashmika.

Rashmika, I came here for you today. I’ll come anywhere.

I can’t put into words how much affection I have for you.

I won’t even try. We need to invent a new language,

The existing languages aren’t enough.

You’re family to me. Because of you, Vijay is family to me.

May you both always be happy. That’s all.

Lately, I’ve gotten to know Vijay a little better.

You may all think it’s because of Rashmika. That’s true too.

But we both share a common passion: watches.

Whenever we meet, we talk about watches.

blockbuster. I sincerely wish for that.
