Critique of Hindu Nationalism in India

Mr. Zaigham, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi

is constantly targeting the Modi government over vote bank politics,

and criticizing them,

and is also speaking out against it,

but to stop the Hindu agenda

and to stand in its way,

is Congress enough? Can it do it? Or does it need

the role or support of secular parties?

And if so, why are they not supporting them?

Why are they unable to walk together?

It is unfortunate that currently there is Hindu nationalism,

regarding the Hindu party... Hindu nationalism is Hindu nationalism.

At this time, Congress is actively

trying to prove

that it is as pro-Hindu as the BJP,

or even more of a Hindu party than the BJP.

but if Congress were truly secular, why would Pakistan have been created?

that the Muslim League demanded separation, right?

If a poor person, a member of a minority,

is approached by a powerful person after five years to ask,

what their problems are and what they need,

And when you strip them of even that vote,

then what will they have left?

Look at how massive a robbery is being committed

to snatch away this last power.

These 52 million voters, the majority of whom are Muslims,

are being deprived of their right to vote.

And how are they being deprived?

Because their citizenship is being revoked

solely on the basis of being Muslim.

If they are Bengali Muslims, then you are not Indian.

If you are Hindu, you are Indian. Special laws have been made,

the National Register of Citizens,

to prove that you belong to India.

If you cannot prove it, you are not Indian.

They are being subjected to the worst violence

on the basis of suspicion that you have eaten beef.

They are beaten to death.

Targeted by the worst laws, their communities are bulldozed.

They are victims of the worst discrimination. It is a matter of shame

for a country that

calls itself the world's largest democracy.
