Ukrainian Military Tactics in Drone Warfare

Operation Veles, conducted by Khartiia in the Kharkiv region, is

about how to win in drone warfare conditions and

on a transparent battlefield.

As of 2026, the Ukrainian military has nearly halted

the Russians' advance in the Kharkiv sector,

so they went underground.

We observed how the enemy operates underground and

studied how they do it.

We knew that gas trunk pipelines run through

the Kharkiv region, and

were certain that the enemy would use them.

The Russians intended to use gas pipelines

to infiltrate behind our troops' lines.

So we went underground ourselves.

First, to stop the enemy there.

Second, to render ineffective the enemy's tactics

that it

used on the ground and in the air.

We anticipated the enemy's actions and mastered the tactics of conducting combat

operations underground.

Come on, let's go!

We defeated the Russians in this battle and are confident we'll win this

war. We'll get the enemy even from underground.
