Recent Events in the West Bank
Welcome to the West Bank news in brief.
Israeli occupation
forces demolish a house in the Al- Ras area in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron and
a residential building of
four apartments in the town of Sur Baher south of occupied Jerusalem,
under the pretext of lacking a permit.
Israeli occupation forces
force citizen Ahmad al- Abbasi and his son to
demolish their homes in the town of Silwan south of Al- Aqsa Mosque,
and the Jerusalem Governorate reported that the area of the two houses is about 160
square meters. Israeli occupation authorities issue a demolition notice for Al-
Rifa'iyya Elementary School east of Yatta, south of Hebron, and grant a grace
period of 14 days to implement the decision.
Settlers storm a house under construction in
the village of Deir' Ammar in the Ramallah district, and destroy its contents after
raising the Israeli flag on its roof.
Settlers attack shepherds east of Yatta, south of the West Bank and vandalize
trees and crops, and cut the power line supplying the home of a
Palestinian family in Khallet al- Homs.
Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by settlers,
tightly seal off the road leading to the Ras al- Ahmar community in
the northern Jordan Valley, trapping 47 families along with their livestock,
after destroying the water pipeline serving the community and agricultural lands.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reports
a young man was injured by occupation forces' gunfire at a military checkpoint
in Bethlehem, in the southern West Bank.
It added that the occupation forces forced paramedics to return the young man to the
checkpoint before arresting him.
Occupation forces launch a
large- scale raid across several neighborhoods in Hebron, arresting dozens of
Palestinians after
converting several homes into field interrogation centers.
They also raided Al- Ain camp in the city of Nablus, searching several homes
amidst field interrogations and detaining several young men, as well as other areas
in Qalqilya, Jericho, Jenin, and Ramallah.
