Discussion on One-State Solution in Israel-Palestine

The two- state solution is over.

We must be internally convinced that Israel has destroyed the two- state solution.

Therefore, clinging to the two- state solution is clinging to an illusion.

And I am one of those who defended and invested individual efforts

over 30 years in the two- state solution, hoping.

We must not cling to this hope because it has become an illusion,

as Israel destroyed it. So, what is the other option? The other option, Israel makes

it easy for us. Smotrich makes it easy for us.

He says he will annex the Palestinian people and the West Bank,

and there is no such thing as the State of Palestine. We, I on a personal

level say: Yes, we agree to that, one state with equal rights. We spent 30 years

of our lives on the two- state solution, which was completely eliminated

geographically, politically, legally, and so on. The state solution,

the one- state solution leads us to…

This state, will it be an apartheid state like South Africa,

or a state where we have equal rights? The easiest conflict with Israel.

Israel will not agree to that, I realize that and I know this. But to keep

fighting for an illusion, or to start fighting for a reality with which I can

convince a part of Israeli society, and which the international community

cannot reject.
