Man, Ana, very good evening. Present, Carreño.
Good evening.
How’s that...
that life as the new Real Madrid coach going,
Arbeloa, after leaving the reserves and replacing Xabi Alonso? Well,
to bring up to date the listeners who did not hear yesterday’s local segment of Ser
Deportivos in Madrid,
based on the information this newsroom has,
Arbeloa is being very
close to the players,
so much so that
for some he
is too close.
The group was surprised that Ceballos did not get any minutes in Lisbon,
in favor of Cestero,
and they let the coach know it.
And the post- match talk after the Rayo game was long and tense in the
dressing room,
with technical and tactical
disagreements between some players and
their coach,
and for that reason his arrival in the press room was delayed.
Uh… we can point out that some players we’ve spoken to were expecting more with the
change of coach.
They say this is about working,
working and working without complaining,
but they live as if they were being coached by Castilla’s manager,
as if the reserve team’s interim coach were the
one in charge
of the team,
and they have not
seen any spark in the group. The atmosphere in the day to day is much better, uh…
the mood in Valdebebas feels totally different
and just for that they at the club think that the change of coach is worth it,
that there was a tension between the coach and the group that was
leading nowhere good,
but we do get the sense that there is no tactical change so far that has caught
the attention
of the players. Uh…
I heard our colleague Alberto Pereira on Onda Cero
the other day
say that the players prefer not to talk much
in front of Arbeloa because what they say might reach the top of the club quickly.
And we know that there are decisions by the coach,
in terms of lineups and substitutions,
that are not surprising because they are predictable and because they know that
some decisions by Xabi Alonso generated a lot of internal noise,
they experienced it and were complicit in that,
and now when they see lineups and substitutions,
I am not going to say they smile, but almost.

Hombre Ana, muy buenas. Presente, Carreño. Buenas noches.
