Discussion on Houthi Governance and Security

Have you seen Alfat Al-Dubaie's post about how

the Sana'a government, the Ansar Allah Houthis, since entering Al-Turbah,

has been trying hard to impose security, safety, and stability,

and reassure the people? In response,

it was said that the people of Al-Hujariyah are not

satisfied with that. I'll answer you, Alfat Al-Dubaie, with a

simple word, the people, especially the people of Al-Hujariyah and Al-Turbah,

peaceful civilians who love security and stability, will never

reject anyone who comes to fulfill this demand, even though

before the Houthis entered, they had been demanding it from the legitimate government for perhaps more than four years, I don't know,

five years. They demanded one thing, to establish security in the area, as if it were

a den of terrorism. And now, as I scroll through and see,

uh, they say the Houthis take a child from every home. For God's sake, does that

make sense? When you fight and spread rumors, spread them here

in the field, among adults. Don't spread them among children, don't let your harm,

rumors, and injustice undermine children's safety.

Keep children out of everything.

The Houthis today are trying to—

get close to the people and consolidate security and stability, while you confront them, they are

taking children and devastating families there.

The families are demanding that the legitimate government

inspect the basement prisons that were full of children, and everyone has spoken about this.

They imprison children. People, less than a week before the Houthis entered,

there was a case advocating for a child who was killed inside a cell.

Uh, at the Public Prosecution Office in Al-Turbah, as recounted,

the child was imprisoned in the same cell

as the accused, or the perpetrator. When they went to complain, no—

they killed the child in the cell.

That is how Al-Turbah was, a den of terrorism, uh, a killer

of children. Now they want to cover up all the flaws that were

in them, what they did here in Al-Turbah against Ansar Allah, who

are trying to establish security and stability in the city.

They added the land disputes that you were creating in Al-Turbah,

and completed the rest.

Finally, keep children out of any problems.

And disagreements, then, mothers, your children are a trust

entrusted to you. Where will you take them, to ISIS?

And the road is blocked. The Transitional Council won't even allow displaced families through. How will you get the children down?
