Analysis of Social Media Video Reaction
Guardate
quella povera donna. Guardate come si sente.
Guardate cosa le viene fatto, eccetera, eccetera.
Guardate prima il video. Dura circa un minuto e mezzo.
Guardatelo fino alla fine. Se parlate francese, ci sono
sottotitoli in
francese sotto.
Quindi guardatelo,
e poi tornate qui.
me perché voglio spiegarvi cosa penso stia succedendo e perché
ciò abbia implicazioni molto più ampie.
Quindi, a prima vista, sembra piuttosto triste, piuttosto traumatico.
a riguardo.
Che state facendo?

I'm gonna show you a video clip which is very prevalent all over social media, so you may well have seen it somewhere else. You might have already watched it, but I'm going to give you my particular take on
it and tell you why I think it's not what everyone is portraying it as. So most people are watching this video and are saying, "Oh, it's really sad." Look at that poor woman. Look at how she feels.
Look at what's being done, et cetera, et cetera. Take a look at the video clip first. It's about a minute and a half. Watch it all the way through. If you speak French, then there are subtitles in French underneath. I don't speak French, um, but I have got an understanding of
what's being said, I believe. So take a look at it, watch it, and then come back to me because I want to explain to you what I think is going on and why that has much wider implications. So on the face of it, that looks quite sad, quite traumatic.
It's a, a white Parisian lady or French lady effectively trying to defend a shop, trying to stop people looting that shop, pillaging that shop. And you can see just from the look on her face that she's traumatized. She's sort of heartbroken by what's going on.
She's shocked by what's going on. But let me give you some context to that. The actual background to the story is, and my understanding of what she says because I've seen other people reporting this, is that she's trying to ap- appeal to the people by saying, "I'm one of you.
I supported you." Effectively, this is supposed to be about protest. It's supposed to be about cost of living. It's supposed to be about schools, et cetera. What are you doing? That's what she's saying. So what you're seeing there, what you're seeing play out, is
liberal left white women supporting people they think are their allies. Those people are not your allies. They've never been your allies. They're never gonna be your allies. They are the enemies of all of our society, whether you're on the left wing
or the right wing of politics or you're a centrist. These people are the enemies of our society. They don't follow politics. They don't care about politics. They don't even know who politicians are. They have one thing and one thing in their mind, and that
is getting as much of everything as they possibly can for themselves. And you can see that in the video, and you can see that is what the look of shock is. It's the realization on that woman's face, "I've got this so
badly wrong." As Gad Saad, the commentator, I think he's a Canadian commentator in America described it, it's suicidal empathy. It's being empathetic for a cause,
but in being so empathetic, in giving up so much of yourself, so much of your society, so much of your time, so much of your legality, so much of your resources and provisions, that you're actually effectively
committing societal suicide. And that is what is all written all over that lady's face. She realizes she's got it so badly wrong. And if you are a lefty, if you are on the left of politics, and if you are a migrant welcome person,
if you are one of those people, you're gonna get exactly the same look on your face at some point that that lady just had, 'cause they're gonna come and get you, 'Cause they don't give a shit about you or this country or your society or your morals or your education system or your
cost of living crisis. None of it even filters into their heads. It's about getting everything for themselves. It's about being dominant. And so when you see people like the Green Party in this country forming electoral alliances with Islamic groups and immigration
groups, that is suicidal empathy, because only one group is gonna win, and it won't be the lefties. It won't be the liberals. It won't be the white middle class ladies turning up at protests with placards saying, "Migrants Welcome".
You'll be the first to go
