Tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji perhaps said this

that India is not a piece of land. A living

and breathing national being. Atal

ji had said

that this is the land of homage, the land of praise

This is the land of offering, this

is the land of offering to the departed. Every river here

is the Ganges to us. Every pebble here is Shankar to us.

We will live for this India, and if we die, for this India

And even after death, as our ashes flow in the Ganges

if someone listens closely to them a single voice

will be heard: Victory to Mother India.
