Player Insights and Performance Analysis
Who did you swap shirts with?
With Dumfries, a player I look up to
and I'm glad to have a shirt like that.
Why do you look up to him? You play in the same position?
Yes, we are a bit of the same type of player, he
also plays for the Dutch national team,
it's easy to watch him, he's right there in front of me. It's nice.
Are there things you see in him that you need to pay close attention to,
if I can apply that to myself, I can
make progress there too? When we push forward, he is always up front,
he wants to score and assist, which is certainly great, I can learn that from him.
Do you specifically watch back when he plays matches?
Yes, sometimes I do watch the
matches and then I see things that I can see myself doing too.
He drives forward, which you want to see more of yourself.
Exactly, he has a lot of end product in front of goal.
