Hey it's me Matt Jenkins and this is how you install GEICO's brand new high pass filter module. This chip is designed to give your guitar a more stable high end and prevent treble loss when rolling off the volume. It comes with detailed instructions but all you need to do is solder one side of the chip to the in and out on your volume pot and then ground the other side of the chip to the top of the volume pot. Alternatively you can solder some bits of wire to each contact to make
it a little bit easier to solder to a volume pot that's already wired in. I'm also testing this chip on a few different guitars so having these wires attached will make it a little bit easier to swap out. The chip also has a trim potentiometer so you can adjust the high end compensation to your liking. I've got the trim set just bang in the middle so let's hear what it sounds like.
