Overcoming Personal Weaknesses and Effort

I might actually be misunderstood, but

I'm actually full of insecurities.

What I can say for sure is

that daily effort

never lies.

I've never been betrayed by my efforts.

The only thing that has ever betrayed me is my own weakness.

In short,

this weak part of me, out of the strong and weak parts within myself,

has disappointed me time and time again.

In short, people often talk about compromise and evaluation,

but when it comes to human compromise,

you can never compromise in life.

But effort is absolutely necessary.

If you didn't get results,

it's ultimately because

your effort wasn't enough.

For me,

the definition of strength is

whether you can

conquer yourself or not.

I think that's what determines if you're strong.

In my life, I really face myself,

and I often question myself.

Facing yourself and conquering yourself—

I think it all comes down to that.

I believe there are almost no geniuses in this world.

I admit there are slight differences in talent.

But my point is, it's only slight.

We're not fighting lions.

We're not racing horses.

The difference isn't so vast that it turns heaven and earth upside down.

That's why, against athletes more talented than me,

I have won in the past,

because the difference wasn't that big.

But whether you see that difference as huge

or as something you can overcome is up to you.

People set their own limits

and stop challenging themselves.
