Today, a very serious matter has come to light.

The Modi government has directly stated in the Supreme Court that PIL,

meaning Public Interest Litigation, should be completely eradicated.

Meaning, now the public should not even go to court for their rights.

First, understand what a PIL actually is. When any poor person, laborer, farmer,

or common man cannot fight alone,

then any individual or organization can file a petition in court on their behalf.

This is a weapon for the common public to fight for their rights.

But the Modi government does not like this weapon.

They are saying that there is no need for PILs anymore.

Just think, what is the mindset of the Modi government?

The Modi government wants to snatch away the public's greatest right— the right to

ask questions. First, they weakened the RTI.

The RTI was introduced during the Congress era so that the public could question

the government, and obtain information on where the government is spending money.

What did the Modi government do? They weakened the RTI.

RTI will not apply to the PM CARES Fund.

You couldn't ask questions about Electoral Bonds until the Supreme

Court struck them down. And they don't provide any other information anyway.

Now PILs are also being targeted, the meaning is clear. If there's no bamboo,

no flute will play.

The public won't be able to file PILs or ask RTI questions,

and the government won't have to answer.

This is exactly what has been going on for 12 years, right?

Squander the public's tax money on publicity, throw around empty slogans,

and run from accountability. Now the government is saying,' Public, sit quietly,

whatever we do is right.' Wake up, raise your voice, or else the doors of the

court will also be closed for you tomorrow.
