Musk, Trump and Starlink in Ukraine: A Former Adviser’s Claims

The truth is, Musk simply lied. I will explain why in just a moment.

But the American president also lied, convincing the entire world that Elon Musk

had nothing to do with it, and that there were no shutdowns at all.

The interruption of Starlink in Ukraine, who ordered that interruption?

I don't know who it was, but I'd like to find out. Yeah.

I don't know if it was anybody, because it wasn't me,

and I don't think it was

Elon. Well, I don't know. I know that I think it's the same.

I'm not sure that it ever came down.

So who exactly is the one lying here?

Is it Elon Musk, who openly admitted that certain restrictions

were put in place,

or is it Donald Trump, who claims that Musk never applied any such

restrictions at

all? The truth is, they both lied. Allow me to explain the situation.

I previously worked at the Ministry of Defence,

where I served as an advisor to the

minister, and I know firsthand from the inside

exactly how the entire process of

moving the Starlink system over to those white lists actually went down.

The important thing to understand here is that if you happen to possess a

Starlink

satellite terminal, you're able to utilize it in a stationary

configuration, which

essentially means when the device is completely stationary

and not in motion, or

alternatively, in a scenario where a vehicle equipped

with such a terminal is

traveling at a relatively low speed, specifically not exceeding sixty

or seventy

kilometers per hour. However, these drones are capable of flying at

speeds that

exceed one hundred kilometers per hour.

And in order for a drone to successfully utilize satellite communication provided

by SpaceX, it would have needed to be linked to an

entirely separate network,

specifically the Starshield system, which is a dedicated military system.

From a technical standpoint, this implies that the standard civilian

Starlink

system is fundamentally impossible to utilize on any type of drone.

It simply isn't a realistic scenario.

For a drone to function with a terminal, it must be linked exclusively to the

Starshield network. There is no other way.

Therefore, Elon Musk is quite clearly being dishonest.

The Ukrainian military could not possibly have violated Starlink's operating rules

simply because they did not even possess the technical capability to do so.

So what is the real reason behind the lies told by the American president and Elon

Musk? The answer is actually quite simple.

They are attempting to force the nation of Ukraine to capitulate to the Russian

Federation, and they have utilized both Starlink

and Starshield systems for the

express purpose of blackmailing our country.

However, they are still forced to contend with the

prevailing sentiment of the

American public, who overwhelmingly support the cause of

Ukraine.

And that is precisely the reason why they are currently offering up these rather

clumsy and unconvincing explanations.
