Experiencing Discrimination in the UK

You're going to be absolutely shocked.

I'm completely horrified, just shocked by this kind of attitude.

In short, I've been living in the UK for four years, and only now did I realize

how absolutely disgusting the attitude towards Russians actually is here.

I'm even kind of scared to talk about it,

ashamed, and overall, damn, unpleasant.

When I first encountered it, I thought, well, okay, it happens, a coincidence.

The second time, the same thing again, the third time.

And now yet another time, and I'm like, well, this is real, this is a nightmare.

In short, I went to open a bank account.

What do you think, I went first to one branch, then to another, then to a third.

Okay, I thought, maybe I just need to look on the website for some

branches. Maybe I'll find the address of the branch I need somewhere on the website.

No, nothing of the sort.

You see, absolutely nowhere, in not a single branch here,

in the UK, do they speak Russian in banks,

nor do they provide an interpreter.

Guys, seriously, how is this even possible?

What kind of attitude is this, I don't

understand? And what about the fact that a huge number of Russians live in England?

And what about the fact that we dump a huge amount of money here?

Well, not me personally, of course, but our officials,

some rich people who built their corporations, who hold

executive positions in Russia. Many of them have their own real estate here.

Yes, of course, many are under sanctions now, but that's all nonsense. So,

but that doesn't matter, right? What kind of attitude is this, I don't understand?
