How do you like the option Kovač picked today,
going with two strikers?
I really do not know what he had in mind. I
have not spoken to Niko on the phone, but… …it
is worth a try. It is the same with Gnabry and Kane,
in the end they are also two players
… …who can play up front in the number nine role,
but also always drop deep. He just always wanted
to have the penalty area occupied, … …but always
to have a second one arriving as well. Maybe it
did not work out, … …but at least it was
worth a try to maybe play in such an attractive way.
Champagne football?
Dortmund, champagne football does not fit
there at all. They should run, they should fight,
and that is how they have had their success. They
did not only play champagne football even under Klopp.
played. The team has to be fit for 90 minutes
they have to run and then they
… …if everyone delivers what we know from them
then they have a team … …that
might perhaps move a bit closer to Bayern Munich
but not endanger Bayern Munich.
