Civilian Casualties in Yemen Conflict

The Saudi enemy is still committing

massacres against the Yemeni people.

It targets civilian facilities. It targets civilians

safe in their homes. This has led to the destruction

of all infrastructure. It targets the entire

health system, markets and popular

markets, among others. Today, this heinous crime

committed in just three hours resulted

in the deaths of 16 people on October 24.

Sixteen were killed, including seven children.

Nineteen were wounded, including nine children, for a total

of 35. That is within three or four

hours. This heinous crime proves that

the targeting resulted in

targeting civilians, children, and women

directly. There are no military targets.

It is meant to terrorize civilian citizens.

Since the beginning of the escalation, the cumulative toll

of the dead and wounded to date

has reached a total of 661

dead and wounded, including 193

Martyrs and 468 wounded.

Among them, 62 children were martyred.

And 24 females were martyred.

The number of wounded children reached

122 wounded children.

The number of wounded females reached

59 wounded women. Thus, this

systematic targeting and the high percentage among

women and children, exceeding

60 percent. This direct targeting,

meaning the targeting of civilians,

children and women, constitutes a blatant violation

of all international laws, norms, and laws of war.

We condemn these heinous crimes

committed against the Yemeni people and the shameful

international silence that has done nothing

about these crimes committed against the Yemeni people

over 12 years. These crimes are still

continuing against the Yemeni people through direct

targeting and deliberate direct bombardment, and they constitute

a fully-fledged war crime, or the targeting of the

Indirectly, through the process of siege and starvation.
