Saudi Arabia vs UAE Economic and Political Comparison

The claim is that Saudi Arabia has a big brother complex,

and that it envies the political openness

and economic development the UAE has achieved, and that Saudi Arabia cannot comprehend

that the UAE, despite its size, surpassed it and became a global hub and became

known for God knows what, and this— this media marketing nonsense they peddle

to the public.

I am not going to answer you, Dr. Abdul Khaliq, with numbers,

nor give you statistics, nor tell you the size of Saudi Arabia or the size of

the UAE, but I will respond in the language of the street, the language of

ordinary people,

the language of people seeing before their very eyes what this country is and what that country is.

And I will tell you this: You know, if Saudi Arabia were as brazen

as the UAE,

and made it easy

for everything

illegal and everything immoral,

and protected it by law, the UAE would now be a small village within

Saudi Arabia. Meaning, if Saudi Arabia were as brazen

and had become like you have, and excuse

the expression, but it is the most fitting description of what I am saying.

So if it had become

Like you, attracting prostitutes and pimps

from around the world,

and not only attracting them, but providing a fertile environment for their work,

protecting them by law, and integrating them into the social fabric

in the UAE. If Saudi Arabia

had followed the same approach as your government,

facilitated money laundering, and covered it through

banks, commercial transactions, and free zones

and company registration, its situation

would be different now. I'm talking to you now about the economic aspect.

If Saudi Arabia had taken the same approach that you adopted

in the UAE, and facilitated the arrival of

stolen gold from Africa, its refining

and export abroad as though it were

legitimate gold, its situation would be better now.

If Saudi Arabia had followed the UAE's approach,

protected mafia leaders and major drug

dealers, arms dealers, and dealers in

everything illegal, so they could find a protected place

under the law and through state officials in the UAE, its

situation would be different now. That's why.

If you say Saudi Arabia couldn't keep up

with the UAE's economic development, that's the economic development

you're trying to talk about or trying to

market to the world. But because Saudi Arabia has remained

committed to its social and religious values

and has not allowed itself to be lured by these temptations,

Let's move on to the political side, where you say we in the UAE,

Saudi Arabia is jealous of us because we surpass it economically and politically.

If Saudi Arabia or its rulers were like

and dealing with them with all this humiliation and betrayal, rest assured,

I repeat, the UAE would now be back in the embrace of

Saudi Arabia or back in the embrace of the Sultanate of Oman.

But because Saudi Arabia is still holding on, at least,

to its Arab identity and its Islamic faith, and has not

been dragged

into this nonsense and crap that you people are doing,

So you see it, or think you are superior

to it in this regard. These are your reasons

for being superior, or so you think, economically

and politically

to Saudi Arabia, though I don't know how you read the figures. Go

look at Saudi Arabia's budgets, go look at its GDP, go look at

the projects, go see how the country is being built, and go see

its religious weight, its political weight, its geographical

weight, its social weight, then come out and speak or

compare that way. The proof is these recent events

that happened,

that you guys

were lost in the very first crisis.

In the first crisis, the veil you've put over your ruin

became clearly apparent.

So when you compare, compare in a

sound and proper way.
