Environmental Initiative in Al-Mokha

In Al-Makha District, an environmental initiative was launched

encompassing efforts adopted by the General Authority for Marine Science Research

and Aquatic Life, the Cleanliness

and Improvement Fund, the Tihama Coast Association,

and the Fisheries Authority, with community participation

to clean the coast and corniche over three

days, protecting the marine environment.

This campaign will continue

for several days, accompanied by

awareness activities and the distribution of barrels, God willing.

Over the next two days, along the coast and in these

places where

the people of Al-Makha can breathe.

We call on the community to be the main support the foremost foundation

in supporting this initiative, implemented by the General

Fisheries Authority, the Research Authority, and the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund

and the Director General of Al-Makha District.

Intensive awareness programs accompany the campaign to instill

a culture of public cleanliness and the importance of preserving the aesthetic

and environmental appearance of Al-Makha District, as part of a

joint plan aimed at raising community awareness

and ensuring a safe, healthy environment.

They are very important in giving the coast

a beautiful and mournful appearance, as well as preserving fish stocks

and preserving the marine environment.

So fish stocks can settle in our sea instead of migrating to other seas.

We went out to do volunteer work for no compensation. My message to every

citizen and visitor is to keep their city

clean.
