Discussion on Fighting for Justice and Faith

If we fight, why? It is not because we are eager to fight.

No. So that God's religion and rule prevail.

Fight them until there is no more strife and religion is

for God.

Why else do we fight? Because he is an aggressor.

God Almighty said, "Fight the one who transgresses."

Whoever he may be, even if he is a believer and an aggressor.

What brought him from Sa'dah?

"Fight the one who transgresses." Therefore, among the qualities of believers are those who, when

oppressed, what do they do?

They defend themselves. They do not submit.

A believer is not humiliated.

Whoever tells you he is a believer while submitting to falsehood and to an oppressor is not

a believer. He is lying to himself. And those who, when

oppressed, defend themselves.

They cannot submit to a tyrant or an aggressor. "Fight the one who transgresses."

The Exalted said, "Whoever attacks you,

attack him as he attacked you," whoever he may be.

A man came to the Messenger of God, peace be upon him.

This is in Sahih Muslim.

He said, "O Messenger of God, what if a man comes to take my money?" He said, "Do not give him

your money. Do not be a coward."

Islam does not raise us to be cowards.

Islam teaches us courage, pride, and dignity.

This is the religion of Islam.

He said, "What if he fights me?" He said, "Fight him."

He said, "What if he kills me?" He said, "You are a martyr."

He said, "And if I kill him?" He said, "He is in Hell."

Is that clear or not clear? Clear.

So why do we fight? To bring victory to the oppressed who are now oppressed

under the weight of the Houthi enemy,

millions of them.

God Almighty said, "Why do you not fight in the cause of God

and for the oppressed men and women

and children?"

Those who cannot fend for themselves and cannot fight. Fight for their sake.

These oppressed people, when they look today,

where is the hope?

What does he hear?

After God Almighty, where is the hope?

In a battle. Hope will come from here, by God's permission.

God. All the oppressed will be liberated, by God's permission.

God. They will move from humiliation and weakness to

pride and dignity.

No people abandon jihad without being humiliated, and God will not lift

humiliation from them until they return to the banner of jihad.

These are the deeds for which we fight.

We fight the enemy to avert discord, and so that religion is

The ruling: We fight for the oppressed. We fight because we were driven from

our homes and our children.

We fight because we are wronged.

God Almighty said: “Permission is given to those who fight because they have been

wronged.” And God is certainly capable of granting victory to those who were driven from

their homes unjustly, merely because

they say, “Our Lord is God.” This is their crime.

That is what we fight for.

And we will be victorious, God willing. There is

nothing before us but victory.

What is the reward of a fighter in God’s cause?

Imagine someone worshipping God for sixty years. Someone who spends the night in prayer for

God’s sake, fighting is better than worshipping for sixty years.

Someone who stands for one hour in God’s cause is better than observing the Night

of Decree by the Black Stone.

Uthman ibn Affan, may God be pleased with him, said, “I had heard a hadith from the Messenger of God

and wrote it down for you, so that you would not leave me in Medina

and go off to fight. Now I will tell you the hadith.”

What is this hadith? He said, “The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Standing guard for one night in God’s cause

is better than a thousand nights spent in other dwellings.”

Where is the one aspiring to Paradise? Jihad is in the way of God. Where is the one aspiring

to the highest Firdaws? Jihad is in the way of God. Where is the one aspiring for

renown, significance, exaltation, and status with God? God

has prepared for those who strive in His way in Paradise one hundred ranks, between each rank

and the next is the distance between heaven and earth. One final question:

Does courage and boldness bring your death closer?

Does courage and boldness bring your death closer?

And does retreating extend your life? Then why cowardice?

Forward, until we liberate Yemen, and we will meet, God willing,

at our next gathering in Sana'a, by God's permission.
