Discussion on Gaza Weapon Storage Agreement

As for handing over weapons, uh, no one said that we

would hand over weapons, and not a word was said about handing them over.

The framework we agreed upon is inventorying

and storing heavy weapons, carried out by

the Palestinian Administrative Committee— that is, the Gaza government—and the resistance

factions.

Not a single bullet will leave the Gaza Strip under this agreement,

and none of these weapons will be handed over to any non-

Palestinian party. They will remain with the Palestinians,

and this is part

of a comprehensive agreement that includes the occupation's withdrawal from the Gaza Strip,

lifting the siege on Gaza, the functioning of the government,

and the security apparatus—the police and Palestinian security services—continuing to operate

to ensure Palestinian security. This,

uh, keeps the current Palestinian government's work in Gaza

going. It preserves Palestinian unity,

dismantles the network of collaborators, disarms them, and prevents

their entry into the security services. This

is a complete system. If achieved, we will begin

negotiations on the implementation mechanism for collection and storage, and this

will take its time.

This agreement, or this—this framework, we

We agreed to it, but it won't take effect unless the occupation agrees to it.

The ball is now in the court of the occupation and the mediators.

Up to this moment, they haven't been able to get a "yes" from the enemy.

And two days ago, we told the mediators and Kushner that if he doesn't

publicly say yes and begin the practical steps to halt

the aggression, withdraw, and so on, we do not consider ourselves

obligated to implement anything.

I think this stance of the resistance is clear, and in its- in its entirety does not

unequivocally mean handing over weapons.
