It was the day after His Eminence’s martyrdom that some videos came out from Nasiriyah in Iraq and those places.

For example, I saw my dear brother, the student Kaabi, holding up a photo of His Eminence.

They were firing at it, the women were beating their heads and faces, the men were beating themselves.

Honestly, maybe compared to the image of the Iraqi people they had painted for us in these past years…

We used to know Iraqis only as Baathists.

And some people had influenced them.

But they showed that there is absolutely nothing like that about them.

During Arbaeen, when we would all gather in Karbala, it did not seem like brotherhood on the surface.

Today we showed that was just the appearance, today in practice the Baathists were the ones standing against them.

Maybe even more than us, or at least as much as us, they mourned for our martyred sir.

Mourning processions and mourning tents.

We promise them that we will make it up to them, God willing.

Meaning Iranians will remember, they will not hold back for them.

They will make it up to them.

Especially during Arbaeen, all my effort is for this.
