Black October: PHP, GitLab and Tor Security Incidents
The entire internet is silently getting hacked right now, and
most people don't realize it. Forget Black Monday in the stock
market. This is Black October for cybersecurity
and the
internet. This is not propaganda.
Last month when politicians were telling you that AI
was gonna kill us all,
that was. What's going on now is event after event to the
point where most people in the industry can't even explain it.
Even if they can, by the time one thing is explained, another
vulnerability or hack pops up. You are barely hearing about this on the
news. Some people picked up the PHP video from
yesterday.
Others are just framing it as if it's muse in your bank account,
but there
are literally twenty other events that have just occurred in the last few
days
and even more this month. Here is a small list, but if one or two of
these occurred in a month, it would have been a huge deal.
This is all happening within a few days.
You had PHP to Shell, eMudra, that's the Indians, and the
number four as the password. California school records were hacked.
Railway got compromised. GitLab had a ten out of ten severity hole.
JavaScript had vulnerabilities.
Signal had minor vulnerabilities, and even Medi-Cal records were hacked as
well. My favorite one, even Tor had
relays hijacked to steal logins. Most people don't even know that
Japan declared a cybersecurity emergency right ahead of all
this. Believe me, I know how insane I sound right now.
Ask around. The Josh Atola is not a doomer.
If I could give you an example, it's like nine eleven where people did not
know it was a hijacking in the beginning and flights weren't
grounded till both towers and the Pentagon were hit.
This is only gonna get worse before it gets better, and at this rate, I
can't even forecast the timing. The deputy chief of information
security at Anthropic, he would agree.
The only part that makes me doubt or look at ulterior motives is
him saying, quote, "Never let a good crisis go to
waste." So what's the play? There's too much to go over in
just one video, and everything keeps changing.
I will have my main theory and all of the stocks you need to be
watching on
tomorrow's video, so don't miss it.
But in the meantime, you better be on stream
if any of this goes down
live.
I hope you're paying attention.
