The very, very recent, terrible, terrible tragedy that has happened in Turkey is something that no nation, no country, no group of people should ever have to experience. The pain that the friends and family of the victims have to experience and endure now is a certain type of pain that should be never experienced is the best way I can put it. Me as an American, I have had many experiences with this certain topic, but it's something

that should never become desensitized. The conversation over what's happened in Turkey should keep on going, and I think it's a conversation about mental health that needs to be more recognized. I know one teacher, her name is Alya Kara, I think I'm saying that right, please correct me.

She gave her life for her children, and as a teacher, you are put in a position to take care of your kids, but never to that extreme, so she is one true, true hero, and I'm sure there are many more teachers and students that did all they could to protect their peers. I feel so much raw emotion over this, I can't quite put it into words. I just want to keep spreading the word about this certain situation.

Mental illness is such a real thing, and it's something that should be taught to be able to handle. We should have more conversations about it. These things should never go to this extreme. This is an illness that has plagued my home country for many, many years, to the point

where it's become a joke. Whenever you speak on America, the concept of school shootings pops up as a joke, and it's so sad to see people so desensitized to a tragedy of this extent, and I don't want the same thing to happen to any other country in the world. This is a case that's so rare to the country of Turkey, that I don't want it to ever become

on the same level of what I'm used to. The desensitization of this is a tragedy within itself, and we need to have more conversations about mental illness. We need to have more conversations about how to regulate your emotions. I want to say once again, all of my empathy and thoughts go towards the victim and their

friends and family and everyone affected in this. And also my empathy goes out to all of the Turkish people that have to deal with such a great tragedy. I feel so much that I can't put it into words, but I really just want to spread the word more and keep the conversation going for as long as possible, because this is something

that should not happen again and should have never happened in the first place.
