He was special in many ways, of course.

But one of the things that perhaps isn't widely known...

Abu Ibrahim's spiritual background, we could say, was Sufi.

Abu Ibrahim was one of those who observed

his litanies and remembrances devoutly.

And he had a Sufi inclination.

And they say he had expressions he'd use when he was fed up with work, the pressure of work, and such things.

He kept dreaming of the zawiya where he wanted to live and settle down.

And when the liberation comes, you call for him, and he'll join you for it.

Of course, it turned out to be completely different.

His zawiya and his mihrab turned out to be the rifle, the trench, and his weapon.

And what a blessed zawiya, and what a blessed mihrab.
