I’ve been tinkering with this DIY digital camera for months, and it finally works.

While I’m on vacation, I took it out to test it.

This was originally just a regular development

board, then I spent a little over ten yuan to give it a security camera lens.

Plus a 3D- printed shell, that makes a digital camera. Luckily, I designed

a screw hole on the bottom of the shell. It can be mounted on a tripod,

otherwise it’d be hard to hold steady. Let’s try shooting a macro.

I spotted a ladybug. This zoom lens needs to be focused manually.

Actually, it’s only two megapixels. The resolution isn’t high,

but the colors and bokeh seem decent. This camera looks pretty complicated.

In fact, you do not need to understand circuitry.

You just connect these few modules and then use Python to write a
