This is what drove Trump to make the decision of the blockade.

In my opinion, it is the Iranian stance on the strait that has evolved

Iran has started to look at the strait as a tool of

pressure to increase the cost on the United States of America and the world,

by preventing oil from leaving the strait, raising prices.

Now the entire Iranian position has changed

toward seeing that the strait is no longer just a tool to increase the cost,

but rather it has turned into

a strategic treasure for Iran, meaning that Iran wants to use it to achieve

two main goals.

The first goal is to secure economic revenue for Iran by imposing fees,

and the second is to use it as a political tool of pressure on countries, rewarding

and punishing them based on their stance on… based on their stance,

meaning we allow the countries that stand with us and prevent those that stand
