Gujarat, I am Shubham Viren Thakar. I am a student.

And I have previously taken this exam in NEET 2023 and '24,

and currently, I am continuing my college life.

I was contacted by my juniors

that various groups have been created on the Telegram app

through which the NEET paper and the re-NEET paper

which is about to happen, they are talking about leaking those papers.

Initially, I thought it was a joke, that someone had just

created this group to pull off a scam.

But when I entered these groups, when I got added

through different links, some small

token amounts also have to be paid to enter those groups.

Different amounts like ₹200, ₹250, ₹5,000.

And there is a star amount on the Telegram app,

stars that you have to buy, through which you enter those groups.

And these groups are not just a single, particular group,

they are a web of groups within a group.

Meaning, once you enter a group, within it,

there is a separate group for PDFs, a separate group for passwords,

a separate group for announcements, like ten different groups.

That's how they came into our contact, and the admins of those

different groups would go live, hold a live conference,

and say that you have to pay this much token amount,

and we will provide you with this paper on this date.

Now, if you look at these token amounts,

they start with CUET UG, where 10,000 was demanded.

Then, when it comes to NEET, for the re-NEET paper,

we were asked for ₹30,000 to ₹60,000 as a token amount.

And the total amount for the paper was ₹10 lakh.

And in which, there was a PDF named 'NEET, re-neet bio.pdf',

a PDF like that,

which we have submitted to the Cyber Crime Cell.

And that was a password-protected PDF, and I wasn't given entry into that group.

But they have created a whole network and web of different groups.

When I got all this information, I spoke to different admins,

including someone named Raghav Sir, whose original name is

Rahul Kalyan, as it appears in his bank details.

And he identifies himself as Raghav Sir.

Raghav Sir says... He got on a call with me and said that

before this, the NEET paper, this year's

NEET 2024 paper, they leaked it.

They bought this paper for ₹35 lakh.

And he put a condition before me that if I

reveal this outside, it won't cause them any trouble

because their network—this is an entire mafia network—

and MLAs are involved in this network.

And they won't face any trouble, but we definitely will.

And they will easily get away.

And they have different code words. Like the Telegram app

which is an app where you can hide your identity.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, in its 2023-24

report, also stated that 22,000 cyber complaints were filed against the Telegram app.

Yet, to date, no proper, accurate action has been taken against them.

On the Telegram app, you can hide your identity,

whether it's your number, your email ID, or your photo.
