Thank you very much for attending my retirement press conference.

We have been supported by many people since the very beginning of our formation.

I was able to run through to this point.

Today I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported me.

I would like to share my thoughts about our sport.

Good morning, everyone.

Thank you so much for coming together today.

Miura Riku and Kihara Ryuichi, as of this season,

have decided to retire from competition.

To all the fans who have always warmly supported us, truly, thank you.

And to everyone at the Kinoshita Group who has supported us since we first formed our pair, truly, thank you.

I truly want to thank all of our sponsors and the federation

who have always continued to support me in a positive way,

Principal Blue and all the coaching staff of Team Oak Blue,

my friends, trainers, and my family,

and Riku-chan as well, from the bottom of my heart.

I myself never really had any kind of special power

as a skater, or at least that is what I believe.

There are always people who help me when I'm in trouble.

There were lots of them around us.

Thanks to those people, we were able to get this far.
