The lead of the new drama Doctor X: Era of the White Mafia, Ms.

Kim Ji- won, will now give us a greeting.

Please welcome her with a big round of applause.

Hello, I am Kim Ji- won. Yes, the new year of 2026

has dawned.

I am truly, truly happy to be able to greet you like this on New Year’s Day.

I wish you all a very happy new year,

and I hope your year is filled only with good things. This year, I will be

greeting you with a new drama, and that is the new SBS

drama Doctor X: Era of the White Mafia. Our drama is a medical

noir in which a genius surgeon named Kye Su- jeong stands up against a

massive medical power structure. The character Kye

Su- jeong that I play will be bringing you a real sense of catharsis,

so I ask for your great interest and anticipation. As an actor,

I feel that getting to encounter a project is truly a great blessing in life.

It feels even more special because it is not just me, but together with

my fellow actors and our staff members who always work hard out of sight,

we complete a single story together. In that sense, the Directors

Award that I will be presenting today is given to the best actor,

personally chosen by the director and production team who created the

work together, which makes the meaning of this award even deeper.

I am truly honored to be presenting this meaningful award. Then I will now announce

the winner.

The 2025 SBS Drama

Awards Directors

Award goes to Yoon Kye- sang.

Congratulations. Yoon Kye- sang played an unpredictable, eccentric director in the

drama Try: We Become a Miracle, delivering both sly comedic acting and weighty

emotional acting in a balanced way,

proving the phrase“ the man of a thousand faces, Yoon Kye- sang.” Yes, sincere

congratulations. Today the Try team is taking home many awards,

and for you, Mr. Yoon Kye- sang, this is truly a very meaningful award, isn’t it.
