Saudi Arabia's Resilience in Crisis
Nations in times of crisis are not measured by the wealth they possess
alone, but by what hardships reveal of
the cohesion of their structure and the strength of
their institutions, and their peoples' ability to turn fear
into willpower, and threats into a test
of existence.
From this perspective, Saudi Arabia is viewed
as it confronts systematic aggression
as a test of the state's prestige, the security of
society, and the stability of the region.
In a world where interests take precedence over principles,
and positions hide behind political calculations,
the state understands the meaning of steadfastness. Yet
the Kingdom's strength is not confined to its military arsenal
or its economic weight.
Above all, it lies in a people who see the stability of
their homeland as a shared responsibility,
in institutions that fulfill their duty, and in a state
that derives its cohesion from the orderliness of public life
and its ability to manage crises.
A state in which leadership, society,
and institutions support one another is measured by its ability to
contain challenges without losing
its compass.
We sacrifice ourselves for the homeland, for the leaders, and for the rulers,
And sacrificing our wealth and children.
History has lessons that never grow old. At the Treaty of
Hudaybiyyah, the noble Prophet taught his companions that
wisdom may require patience, and strength
is not blind recklessness, but insight
that knows when to negotiate and when to uphold the truth.
In the Holy Quran, "And prepare against them whatever
strength you can muster,"
a call that combines preparedness with responsibility,
linking the safeguarding of security to taking the necessary measures.
The real test lies in possessing the means of steadfastness.
Homelands are not protected by anger alone,
they are protected by awareness and unity
and justice and institutional competence. And when
challenges intensify, the deepest lesson remains that
a state's resilience means its ability to overcome
pain without abandoning its reason or
mission or its people's right to security
and peace.
