Military Service Contracts and Recruitment Update

Military service contracts during the first six months of this year

were signed by about 200,000 people.

In addition, more than 16,000 of our citizens

joined volunteer formations and went to the special military operation zone.

A good pace of recruitment has been achieved for the unmanned systems forces.

About 40,000 service members have entered service in them.

And I want to note that in July of this year as well,

the corresponding recruitment pace is being maintained.

Dear colleagues, dear comrades, based on the results of the first half of the year,

the armed forces' manpower needs have been fully met.

We will continue to increase the efficiency of this work.

The enemy's attempts to spread utter nonsense

that mobilization is being prepared in the country are nothing more than a deceitful provocation.

This is part of the propaganda ahead of the elections.

They are trying, of course, to destabilize the situation in our country,

to create negative sentiments. This manifests itself in various ways.

Even on a number of social networks, posts are being circulated in which

citizens are urged to sign a contract with the armed forces with the wording "Don't wait for mobilization,

go serve for money." It is clear that this is a paid story or a story planted by the enemy,

but this is just one example. I just want to bring this to the attention of

the plenipotentiary representatives of the President in federal districts, heads of regions, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and other agencies.

I will emphasize once again specifically,

there is absolutely no need for mobilization.

This is a lie by the enemy, which itself is experiencing a shortage of manpower,

there is simply no one left to fight. And they hunt down their own citizens like pigs,

beat them, and throw them into buses. That is

what this is all about.

Therefore, conducting explanatory work is extremely necessary so

that people understand the true situation.

Our citizens who sign contracts for military service are true

patriots. People who consider it their personal duty to defend the Motherland from the enemy

and are ready to do everything for the victory of Russia in the special military operation.

Once again, I want to thank everyone who is taking part in this work

for very high results.

I expect that we will maintain the same momentum and

accomplish the tasks set by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
