UN General Assembly Opening Remarks
Your Excellencies, distinguished guests.
The eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly
is beginning at one of the most difficult, in my
view, moments since the organization's founding.
Poland was, in fact, a founding state
of the UN. Since the UN's inception, we have been accompanied by
the question
of the foundations of the international order that
we co-create within our
organization.
Poland—and I want to assure you of this— will
always stand on the side of law, responsibility,
people and freedom. Thank you
very much.
