Khamenei’s Response to a Question About the Future After His Leadership

I’ll never forget that someone asked His Eminence

Sir,

this compassionate father of society,

“Sir, after you,

what will the situation be like?” He replied,

“It will be better than this. Know that for certain.”

Know that for certain, it will be better than what it is now,

if we set our sights on

the divine perspective and divine traditions.

In this perspective, there is peace for our society and

appreciation for the presence of this divine guardian,

who, for about 36 years, has steered this

ship, which was caught amid fierce

storms, yet calmly

and perfectly, with true serenity, brought this

ship safely to its destination. We know that

today, there is a ten-year experience from

Imam’s movement, may God have mercy on him, in divine governance,

and a 36-year experience,

a valuable reserve, for which God Almighty’s

prophets were martyred one after another in this cause.

But the earth does not remain without God’s proof.
